This semester I am taking an intermediate drawing class. I'm not that good at drawing, however I am showing some improvement! This is one drawing that I am proud of. Charcoal might be my new best friend, just sayin. Can I get a what, what?

My Bizarre Project
This past week was so much fun in my Analysis and Composition class. Our assignment was to make a garment, that someone can wear, that you couldn't find in a store. Keep in mind that this project was meant to be slightly bizarre! We were told that the garment had to create an emotion in the person wearing it.
I wanted to convey the emotions of being overwhelmed and constrained, which the photos show! My favorite part of the process was the taking these photos. In the art building, there is a special room that students can reserve to document their work. I love it! Especially because there is track lighting that can be adjusted, needless to say I had so much fun. Thank goodness I had an amazing friend to model my project too, she did so good.

Chocolate Chip Cookies
I am loving a tip that an old friend told my Mom about baking chocolate chip cookies!
I always follow the recipe closely, but when it comes to cookies, a little extra flour never hurts if the dough is sticky! We found that if the dough is a little more cake like, really yummy chewy cookies are coming out of the oven.
The holidays are over, but the giving doesn't have to stop. Hopefully everyone would appreciate a cute winter tin filled with delicious cookies!

Sweet Memories
Yesterday I had the pleasure of visiting with my Great Grandma who has just turned 102! Yes, you read right, one hundred and two years old!
She has lead an amazing life and seen so many changes in our world.
While I was listening to one of her stories, I noticed this project I made for her back in 3rd grade hanging on her mug rack above the sink! I couldn't believe she had kept it all this time, how cool! If you look closely it says, "God Loves You!" Awe!

Christmas Cookies!
Merry Christmas to those of you who actually read this blog!
I had so much fun baking the other day, especially because I don't have the luxury of an oven at college! Anyways, I found this adorable box at Michaels and arranged all the goodies in there for a great gift.
I'll include the recipes at the bottom, but there are Peanut Butter Blossom cookies, Almond cookies, and Carmel Pretzel bites!
Have a wonderful day and remember Holiday Calories don't count!
Recipes:
Carmel Pretzel bites: Pretzel, Rollo, and Pecan. Heat oven to 200, place pretzels on cookie sheet, put a Rollo on each pretzel, bake for 2 minutes. Once they are out of the oven, press down a pecan on the Rollo.
